What is a KDD Smooch? Beads! I like
to think of each of these handmade
mixed metal beads as a precious
little treasure – not unlike a smooch
them as love beads, with a 21st
century twist.
I have been beading and teaching
people how to bead for several years
now, and one thing I have learned is
that even people who don’t know
how to string ‘em together have
beads – they are an integral part of
human history, too, attesting to the
longstanding human fascination with
small objects of beauty. Imagine
how thrilled I was to discover that I
could combine my love of beads with
my passion for metalworking and
come up with my very own
handmade beads!
KDD Smooches beads are strung on
heavy beading wire and finished
with handmade sterling chains, or
dangled from handmade sterling
earwires, or strung on sterling silver
bead chain if you prefer a slinkier
look.
How to Smooch someone
Easy enough to Smooch someone
you love – start with a KDD
Smooches necklace with 3, 5 or 7
KDD Smooches. Then, on those
special occasions, send a pair (or
more!) of new Smooches. Contact
me and for a small restringing fee (a
couple of dollars) I will add them to
the necklace. Purchase 4 or more
new Smooches, and there is no
restringing fee!
